Fans of the early Athens, GA music scene will recognize the plinky sound of this instrumental, which the band Love Tractor ran with to somewhat of a cult following, which was so strange that even Widespread Panic could make fun of it.
I believe this track was literally used as background music for “on the 8s” local weather reports on the early Weather Channel. TWC is based in Atlanta, and many Athens bands’ songs made their way onto the broadcasts.
